I wish I asked my Dad more questions. I have far more questions for him now than when he was alive. I yearn to figuring things out on my own. It’s not easy, but when you find gold… it shines bright.

 

A few years ago I found some negatives from my Dad’s time in the Korean War. He mentioned them to me once. He said they were taken right as the war ended. He then showed me the camera. I was too young to remember any other details and later I learned he gave the camera to my older brother who eventually lost it.

 

There are about 50 photos, I’m going to start digitizing them one by one. Here are the first 10. This will be a great first step in finding out some of the bits and pieces I sadly enough never, ever asked.
